APEEEL1 is here to help all displaced pupils from Ukraine.

This can be with advice regarding school life or it can be financial aid.

Here is some general about school life:

Bus

City buses are free https://www.vdl.lu/en/getting-around/bus/school-buses/student-transport-secondary-schools/school-transport-european-school-i-kirchberg .

If you outside Luxembourg city you will need to register formally with ATSEEE although you will not be charged. www.atseee.eu

Books

Teachers will try and provide as much as they can until the end of the school year, but it really depends on individual teachers and circumstances. If there is an absolute need for a book etc then please contact us and we can help you source it.

School Materials

We have a number of items from pens to paper to school bags in our office. If we do not have something we can source it, or provide a way to obtain it. Contact us or pop into our office (mornings) to choose what is required from our stock but let us know when you are planning to come !

Canteen

Contact us as we are working a solution so that the canteen is 100% funded. However some pupils may prefer to take a lunchbox into school.

School trips

We can help finance school trips. Please complete the attached form and send it back to us as soon as possible:

CPE

The Commission can help provide help afterschool care, please contact them directly on cpe@ec.europa.eu

If anyone would like to make a donation to our Ukraine fund you can do so by bank transfer (APEEEL1; LU62 0019 2555 5628 0000; BCEELULL; message: UKRAINE) or by coming into our office (C002 in the Primary building)
