A new marking scale/nouvelle échelle de notation/neue Notentabelle will soon be introduced into all secondary schools within the European school system. This reform will be progressively applied and initially will be relevant for the S1-S5 years from September 2018. The first Baccalaureate to use the new system will take place in 2021.
In order to give you, the parents, an opportunity to find out more about this change, APEEEL1 and APEEEL2 in collaboration with Interparents, have the pleasure to organise a conference dedicated to this new marking approach.
The conference will take place on Thursday 31st May 2018 at 18:00 in the salle des fetes, European school Luxembourg II, Mamer.
In order to give you a clear explanation of the advantages of the new marking scale, we are delighted to confirm the following participants:
– Mr Max Wolff, Secondary Inspector and chair of the new marking scale working group
– Ewa Rudomino, Head of the European Baccalaureate Unit
