We would like to remind you that the deadline for administrative appeals on the subject of the BAC results is today, 2 July at 23.59. The appeal must be addressed to the Director of the School.
The following resources are available to assist you in drafting the appeal (attached):
- Guidelines in English (prepared by Interparents),
- Model of an administrative appeal – subject moderation, in French (prepared by a lawyer within APEEEL1) together with selected annexes (annexe 2, annexe 4 and annexe 6)
- Model of an administrative appeal – subject issues other than moderation (lack of weighting, weight of the pre-bac etc), in English (prepared by Interparents).
In this context, we would like to highlight that if you think that your daughter or your son has suffered an injustice in the process of the BAC 2020, we would encourage you to introduce an administrative appeal. If you are concerned that the drafting of the appeal may not be perfect, we would still suggest that you introduce it.
It is our understanding that the number of individual appeals introduced will be of major importance.
Lodging an appeal will also have the advantage of preserving your rights to move on to the third stage (appeal addressed to the Complaints Board) if you so wish.
Should you decide to introduce an administrative appeal, please inform our secretariat office@apeeel1.lu so that we have an idea of the volume and can assist you if new information becomes available.
We are continuing to work to support you, and we are on your side!
