National Stands – Call for Volunteers

The countdown to the Fête of our school has started.  The call for volunteers to organise national stands for the school party is intensifying. This yearly event will once again celebrate our school and its spirit.  Most importantly, this unique occasion brings together school staff and teachers, parents and our children, to celebrate their pride and attachment to this institution.  All of us recall our school years, primary or secondary, and their importance in our lives and trajectory.  For our children, as well, these formative years will shape their outlook towards the future and allow them to fulfill their aspirations. Our school, is not just any school.  It’s a European school.

On behalf of the Association des parents d’élèves de l’école européenne (APEEEL1) and on behalf of the organising committee, we invite you to participate in this celebration by contributing to the organisation of the national stands which traditionally remind us of the rich culinary specialties and diverse cultural traditions across our continent. This spirit is the expression of our soul. Do not be shy and join us.  We need you to make this event a success.

At this stage, we need volunteers to organize the following stands:

• Anglophone

• Latvian
• Lithuanian

For APEEEL1, it is also one of the means to raise funds which allows us to fully collaborate with the school and to serve you as an association.

Should you wish to help, please contact at your earliest convenience the Secretariat of our Association (

The preview of the program will soon be announced.

Looking forward to your engagement in this celebration as volunteers.  This promises to be interesting, fun and surprising.

Tombola 2017

Call for prize donations

Again this year APEEEL1 will be organising a tombola, which we know is one of the highlights of the fête.

The tombola prizes count on the generosity of parents and companies.

If any parent, or parent’s employers, are in a position to donate prizes, such as company merchandising, vouchers or other interesting items, please contact the APEEEL1 office, on:

All donors will have their names mentioned, as supporters of the event, on the stand itself, on the day.
